New Video Series Explains Antibiotics on the Farm

As a veterinarian, I am often asked questions about the use of antibiotics on farms. I welcome such questions and the opportunity to engage in an open, honest dialogue. I certainly share the concern about antibiotic resistance and think it’s important for the public to have answers to their questions.

That’s why I am so pleased to invite you to view a three part video series that explains how and why we use antibiotics on the farm, the difference between residue and resistance, the safeguards in place to protect food safety, and the changes underway in how we use animal antibiotics to ensure we are doing our part to address antibiotic resistance.
